Energy units converter

You can use the energy unit converter to convert between US, imperial and metric energy units.
Supported energy units: joules , kilojoules, calories, kilocalories, watt hours, kilowatt hours, electronvolts, British thermal units or BTU, therms (US) and foot pounds. For example, you can convert from joules to calories (J to cal), kilocalories to kilojoules (kcal to kJ), kilowatt-hours to joules (kWh to J), calories to watt-hours (c to Wh), electron-volts to joules (eV to J), etc.

With he Flip button (two arrows in the bottom left corner) you can easily switch between the "from" and "to" energy units.

The energy conversion calculator supports fractional values and shows results in in the decimal and fractional forms.

You can select the number of decimal places you want to display. By default, the energy calculator displays 2 decimal places. To round results to the nearest whole number, select 0 decimal places in the Settings.

For fractions, you can select rounding to the nearest 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/128, 1/256. By default, the app rounds fractions to the nearest 1/32. If you do not need to round fractions, just select "-".
